The Maine Lobster Festival has been on the map for more than 75 years, but we’re getting some extra love in 2023 from USA Today in its 10Best Contest for the Best Specialty Food Festival in the United States.

And you can help bump us to the top by voting every day until March 20!

We’re up against 19 other festivals around the U.S. including the Carne Asada Festival in Dallas, the Cheese Curd Festival in Wisconsin, and the Key Lime Festival in Florida, but we are the only Maine festival represented!

  • We support hard-working lobstermen who are, unlike any of the other contestants, part of an industry currently under siege. A vote for MLF will solidify the value that this small industry brings to an international community.
  • We’re locally produced and funded, with more than 1,100 volunteers each year. And in turn, all proceeds raised from the Festival are given directly back to Rockland area communities in the forms of donations, grants, scholarships and gifts.
