Free Shuttle Bus

The festival provides free shuttle services to and from the festival grounds from the following locations. A bus arrives at each location approximately every 30 minutes.

  • South Elementary School (formerly Rockland District Middle School)
  • Oceanside High School (400 Broadway, Rockland, ME)

Check days for detailed schedule:

  • Wednesday: 11AM – 10PM
  • Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 8:30 AM – 11:30 PM
  • Sunday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Bus arrives at each location approximately every 20 minutes.

75th Maine Lobster Festival Opens

Festival officially opens at noon, along with exhibition tents, booths, and vendors.
King Neptune and his court, along with Chloe Blake, the 2020-2021 Maine Sea Goddess, arrive on the main dock from the briny deep courtesy of the USCG to raise the flag and officially open the 2022 Maine Lobster Festival. Flag raising ceremony will take place next to the flagpole by the Harbor Master’s building.

Lobster Serving Begins at the Food Tent (Noon-8 p.m.)

Visit our Food Tent for our famous steamed lobster dinners, shore dinners, lobster bisque, lobster mac-n-cheese and fried seafood offerings and our Lobster Café for lobster rolls, lobster wraps, and lobster Caesar salad.

The show is being hung in the North Tent on the festival grounds.

The Maine Sea Goddess Coronation

Maine Stage

Come see the coronation of the Maine Sea Goddess! Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. with music and the introduction of the Sea Princesses.

The winner receives a cash prize and the title of The Maine Sea Goddess with a lovely crown. She reigns at many events throughout the year, culminating with the start of the 2023 Maine Lobster Festival. Also crowned is the Crown Princess and Miss Congeniality.
