As a festival that celebrates all things lobster and Maine’s vendors, the Maine Lobster Festival will now feature local beers, wines, and spirits at their first annual “Steins and Vines” event!

The 67th Annual Maine Lobster Festival presents “Steins and Vines,” an exclusive beer and wine tasting event featuring local Maine-based breweries, wineries, and distilleries. This exciting event will take place on Thursday, July 31st, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Maine Lighthouse Museum,1 Park Drive, in Rockland.

Featuring five Maine brewers and four Maine vintners, Steins and Vines is open to guests aged 21 and older (no children are allowed and no one under 21 will be admitted). Cost is $30.00 per person in advance or $35.00 per person at the door.

A limited number of just 250 tickets will be sold. Each admission entitles the guest to choose 10 tastings of beer and/or wine. In addition, each guest will receive a free pass to the 2014 Maine Lobster Festival. Free passes may be used on July 31, August 1, or August 2, 2014. Guests will each receive their own souvenir tasting glass, included in the price of admission.

Featured brewers are Allagash Brewing CompanyRock Harbor BrewingGritty’s BrewingAndrew’s Brewing CompanyPeak Organic Brewing Company, and Sebago Brewing Company. The featured vintners are Cellardoor WineryBreakwater VineyardsSavage Oakes Vineyards and Winery, and Sweetgrass Farm Winery and Distillery. Also, Sweetgrass will present their Three Crow Rum and award-winning Back River Gin.

Guests attending Steins and Vines are asked to enter the event using the Lighthouse Museum entrance closest to Main Street, under the Steins and Vines banner.
