The Maine Lobster Festival has an exciting lineup of entertainment planned for guests at the 71st annual event. This year the festival will feature all Maine-based artists and bands in a variety of genres, and the main stage has, of course, been renamed the “Maine” stage. Another change this year is that all entertainment will be included in the price of admission.
Check the schedule to find out when each artist will be performing.
Wednesday, August 1
Mike Preston – a country artist with a voice that will melt away your worries.
Paddy Mills – an award winning folk singer and songwriter whose songs are just as salty as the Maine coast.
Tom Ulichny – a talented performer and Executive Director of Midcoast Music Academy. Tom’s music is equal parts warm soul and audio science.
Thursday, August 2
Preston & Curry Country – this duo brings their classic country sound to the Maine stage.
Alter Igor – a fun mix of rock, power pop, and British invasion tunes.
Stesha Cano – whether she’s singing jazz standards, R&B or modern pop, she’s easy to listen to and hard to define.
New Shades of Blue – playing cool jazz for the Steins & Vines event.
Mallett Brothers Band – nationally known with a style that ranges from alternative country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock.
Friday, August 3
Jud Caswell – a one-man folk festival mixing banjo picking, Irish drinking songs and award-winning original sounds.
Harbor Cats – Midcoast Music Academy’s new house band will be here to rock the stage.
Hurricane Mountain – a mix of traditional country, swing, and boogie woogie, making them one of Maine’s premier country bands.
Erica Brown and The Bluegrass Connection – the name says it all for this award-winning fiddler and her band.
Hello Newman – Maine’s premier alternative rock band always gives its audience a great show with great tunes and a great time – and that means lots of dancing!
Saturday, August 4
Monday Night Jazz Orchestra – a big band is hitting the big stage with a variety of Latin, jazz, funk, and blues
Ukes Rock – a popular local ukulele group.
Steelin’ Thunder – midcoast Maine’s steel drum sensations. Hawaiian shirts strongly encouraged.
Pat Colwell and the Soul Sensations – a powerful mix of Motown and Memphis soul guaranteed to bring down the house.
Sunday, August 5
The Lowdown Band – bringing a mix of folk, rock jazz, and country to the stage.
We hope you’ll come out to support the Maine Lobster Festival and these talented performers!
