Is the pirate’s life for you? You’ll get to find out during the 72nd Maine Lobster Festival. The Pirates of the Dark Rose will arrive in Rockland Harbor aboard their ship The Must Roos, Thursday, August 1. The swashbuckling pirates will be offering tours of their ship to landlubbers attending the festival. The Must Roos will be anchored at the middle pier, next to the Marine Tent. There will also be weapons demonstrations, including firing a cannon, and talks on pirate life and a history of female pirates. Dress like a pirate on Thursday, August 1, for free admission to the Festival.
